admin Logging into the Webtron Dashboard via your Portal
Step 1: Open your Auction Portal on your Website
Once we’ve confirmed your account has been granted administrator access, you can now log in to the Webtron Dashboard through the Portal on your website.
You’ll need to open your website and navigate to the page either we or your Web Developers have placed the Portal on. Once there, click the Login button at the top of the Portal here:
Fill in your Email Address or Username and then your Password, and click Log In below the Password field (We also recommend hitting Save or Update Details if your browser offers to save your logins).
Once logged in, you’ll now see an Admin button next to the Log Out button at the top-right of your Portal, click the Admin button and the Webtron Dashboard will open in a new tab:
Step 2: Log into the Webtron Dashboard
After clicking Admin on your Portal, the Webtron Dashboard will ask you to Log In to Your Account again, your login details for the Dashboard are exactly the same as your Portal login details, fill those in again and click the green Login button below the Password field.
You will now land on the Dashboard Home page and see the Welcome to the Webtron Auction Dashboard message, and if you have any active auctions, you’ll also see a snapshot of your Auction activity (No. of Registrants, Bids, Selling and Not Selling figures etc.) as well as a link to the Guide Base at the top of the page.
Having issues logging in?
If you’re seeing any error messages when you try to Log in to the Dashboard or your Portal, we have a few recommendations:
“The email and password combination do not match.”
Option 1 – Try Resetting your Account Password via your Portal, open the Login page and click Reset Password below the Password field:
Option 2 – If you have reset your password and still see the same error message, try using your Username instead of your Email Address to log in, or vice versa:
Option 3 – You can also check what Password you are entering on the Portal itself or what your browser has saved as an autofill, simply click the Eye-shaped icon at the end of the Password field to show your password:
“Please select an account or application to continue..”
- This error can pop up if you’re try to load into the Dashboard directly or you’ve bookmarked the Dashboard Login page. This error is a bot protection warning, close the tab and try logging in by clicking the Admin button on your Portal again.
- If you want to bookmark the Webtron Dashboard instead of having to log in to your Portal every time, we recommend bookmarking the Dashboard Home page after you have landed on it.
If the page also simply refreshes and the Username/Email and Password fields empty, enter your details again and try logging in again.
The Webtron Dashboard – The baseplate for all of your Auctions
After clicking the Admin button on your Portal and logging in with either your Email Address or Username and Password, you’ll land on the Webtron Dashboard’s Home page.
Welcome to the Webtron Dashboard, no doubt the Home page will become a familiar sight as you build more and more Auctions. This guide will give you a brief overview of both the Home and View Auctions pages.
Dashboard – Home
Each time you log into the Webtron Dashboard, you’ll land on the Dashboard Home page.
The Dashboard Home page is your starting point and one of your anchors if you get lost or confused while using the Webtron Dashboard. You can return to the Dashboard Home page at any point by clicking Dashboards > Home in the main navigation bar across the top of the Webtron Dashboard, or by logging out and logging back in.
View Auctions shortcut
At the top-right of the Dashboard Home page you’ll find a shortcut button linking directly to the View Auctions page:
Webtron Dashboard Welcome message and Guide Base link
Below that is the Dashboard Welcome Message, this contains any useful updates we need to communicate to you, as well as a link to the Webtron Guide Base:
Actions Required table
Below the Dashboard Welcome Message, you may see the Actions Required table. If you have any Bidders in the Pending Registrant status, any Pending Offers on Lots and Listings, or Bidders who skipped Verification (Insufficient Data status), the Actions Required table will give you a total counter for each status and for each specific Auction.
Clicking any of the numbers in the Actions Required table will take you straight through to the relevant menu, such as the Offer Table for Accepting Offers, or the Auction Registrants menu with the Pending filter enabled for Approving or Suspending Registrants.
Live Auctions snapshot table
If you have any Auctions in Live status, at the bottom of the Dashboard Home page you’ll find the Live Auctions snapshot table, this table displays some brief key information regarding Auction Details, Results and Registrations statistics, such as;
- A Webcast Auction’s Start Date and Time.
- A Timed Auctions End Date and Time.
- The No. of Lots in Live status in that Auction.
- The No. of Approved Registrants.
- The set Currency for that Auction.
- The Sold and Selling figure (Reserve Met and Unreserved Hammer Total).
- The Not Selling figure (Reserve Not Met Hammer Total).
You can also click the Title of the Auction to open the Edit Auction menu or access the quick links, such as the Item List, Bid Table, and Summary Table for that auction.
Navigating to the View Auctions page
If this is your first time accessing the Dashboard outside of your training sessions with us, the View Auctions page is our recommended starting point.
You can click the View Auctions shortcut button at the top-right of the Dashboard Home menu:
Or in the Dashboard sidebar, click the Auctions & Items dropdown, then click View Auctions:
If you want to return to the Dashboard Home page at any point, in the Dashboard sidebar click the Dashboards dropdown, then click Home:
