Tutorial Video – Creating Lots for Webcast Auctions

Guide Under Construction: Please watch the Tutorial Video above while we update the step-by-step portion of this guide below.

  1. Go to Auctions & Items and click ‘Create New Items’.
  1. Choose the sale you would like to add items to.
  1. Click ‘Start Creating Items’.
  1. Enter in the Title, Summary and Description (if applicable) of the item.
  1. Enter in the Category. Start typing e.g. ‘General’ and select the category pre-fill.
  1. Enter in the Vendor. Start typing in the name of the Vendor; “Your Business Name” or their unique ID No; “121” and click on the pre-fill that pops up above or below the field.
  1. Check the GST for the item in the Hammer Tax column.
  • If the Item is GST applicable, ensure ‘10.00’ is entered into the Hammer Tax field.
  • If the Item is not GST applicable, ensure ‘0.00’ is entered into the Hammer Tax field.
  1. For Purchase Option, select NONE.
  1. Type in the Opening Bid and Increment (if not using Auto-Increments) that you would like for the item.

Please Note: If you see “Dynamic Bid Increment” (as in above screenshot), this indicates that auto-increments are enabled for your timed auctions. The bid increment will therefore assign automatically depending on the Opening Bid amount set. In this case, leave the Increment column blank.

  1. Enter in a Location for the Item (if the item location is different to the Auction Location set when creating the timed auction).

To do this, just untick ‘Use Auction Location’, enter in the Address details, and then click ‘Save’.

  1. Then, scroll to the left, tick the checkbox to select all your items, and then click ‘Convert’.

Those items have been created, and are now ready to have photos added.
