The Engine, the Baseplate, the Backend
The Webtron Dashboard is the home and core foundation for your Portal.
All of your Auctions, Items, Bidders, Buyers and Vendors call the Webtron Dashboard home, and it’s your starting point for all things Webtron.
So what is the Webtron Dashboard for?
The Webtron Dashboard is where you can:
- Create and edit Auctions
- Create/Import and edit Items
- Create and assign Vendor profiles to your Items
- View and manage your Bidders and Buyers (Users and Registrants)
- View and manage Bids, Auto Bids and Offers
- Generate invoices for your winning Bidders and Buyers (in-Dashboard Invoicing)
- Running and Clerking your Live Webcast Auctions.
How do I get to the Webtron Dashboard?
Once you’ve created an account on your Portal and we’ve confirmed you have been set up with Admin Privileges, you’ll be able to access the Webtron Dashboard via your Portal.
Log back out if you’re already logged in, otherwise the next time you log into your Portal, you’ll see a special Admin button next to the Log Out and My Account buttons:
This will open the Webtron Dashboard’s login page in a new tab, your login details are the exact same between your Portal and the Dashboard.
Why would I use the Webtron Dashboard instead of VendorPlus?
Both the Webtron Dashboard and VendorPlus have a symbiotic relationship, the Auctions and Items you create in VendorPlus are actually synced over to the Webtron Dashboard, and whereas VendorPlus is the more flexible Auction and Item builder, the Webtron Dashboard is still the home of your Auction Management tools.
Building Auctions and Items
Think of VendorPlus as a more portable Auction and Lotting app and the Webtron Dashboard as the destination. VendorPlus is an alternate way to build your Auctions, either via AI-assisted Lotting or Vendor-submitted Consignments, and the Webtron Dashboard is where your Auctions and Items will be synced to.
Invoicing and Vendor Statements
With VendorPlus v2.1, VP is the recommended destination for generating your Invoices. The Webtron Dashboard’s in-built Invoicing is solid but very basic, whereas VendorPlus leverages your Xero account to give you greater flexibility and online payment gateways.
VP v2.1 has also introduced our new Vendor Statement system, so we heartily recommend setting up a Xero account and leveraging VendorPlus to simply your post-Auction invoicing with a single click.
Managing Bidders, Bids and Vendors
The Webtron Dashboard is the home of your Bidders and Buyers (Users), your Auction Registrations, the Bid History for all of your Items, and Vendor Profiles. If you need to ban a bidder, approve a registrant, cancel a bid or create a new Vendor Profile, the Webtron Dashboard is where you’ll do it.
