Each Auction will be assigned it’s own dedicated Bid Table, with the Bid Table recording and displaying every Bid and Auto Bid set on each Lot.
Near-Real-Time Updates – The Bid Table will update every 5-7.5 seconds with new Bids and Auto Bids, no need to refresh the page.
To access an Auction’s Bid Table, follow the steps detailed below:
Click the Auctions & Items dropdown and click View Auctions.
From the View Auctions page, look to the right-hand side of the Auctions table, under the Actions column click the blue Bid Table button.
If prompted, make sure you click the “Try our new beta Bid Table” button at the top-right of the page.
Scroll down and click on the Title of any of the Lots to open the Bid Information panel for that Lot.
The Bid Information panel is divided into 3 sections, containing the Lot Information (Number, Title, End Date and Current Status), the full Bid History for that Lot, separated into the Bids (manual Bids on the Increment) and Auto Bids (Auto Bid Maximums) sections.
The Bidder(s) who placed each of the Bids and Auto Bids listed in the Bid Info panel are displayed as their Usernames, with their Username acting as a clickable link to open their Bidder Profile.
We recommend referring to the Date column on the left hand side, this will record the full Date and Time (In HH:MM:SS) a bid was placed. This is especially helpful for distinguishing competing Auto Bids.
Auto-Cancelled Bids – Some Bids may automatically appear in Cancelled status in the Bid Information panel, this will occur when someone attempts to outbid an Auto Bid. Upon the bidding reaching the Auto Bid Max, the Auto Bid logic will cancel the competing bid in favour of the original Bidder who set the Auto Bid. This logic will also apply if two Bidders set the same Auto Bid amount, the Portal will favour who set the Auto Bid first and place them as the current highest bidder at their matching Auto Bid amount. Bidders will immediately see the “You have been Outbid” messaging on the Lot.
Custom Bid Status – Direct Bids will appear the same as regular Bids inside the Bid Table, as they are a custom feature of your Portal and not a distinct Bid Type inside the Webtron Dashboard.
