Exporting Auction Bid Data from the Bid Table
Security Recommendation – The Bid Table export contains sensitive Bidder information as detailed below. We heavily recommend destroying/deleting the Bid Table export file once you have finished reviewing/using it.
The Bid Table export contains a wealth of bidding data for each of the Lots in your Auction, including;
Every Bid and Auto Bid set for each Lot.
The Full Name, Paddle No. and Contact Details (Email Address and Contact No.) for each Bid and the Bidder that placed it.
Each Bid’s Status (Live for Standard Bids, Active for Auto Bids, Cancelled for Standard Bids and Disabled for Auto Bids).
To Export the Bid Table for a specific Auction, navigate to the Auctions & Items > View Auctions
After you’ve opened the View Auctions menu, click the Shortcuts button on the right-hand side of the menu and click the Bid Table option.
Once the Bid Table menu loads, look to the top-right of the menu, just above the Hidden Columns section, click the blue Export Bid Table button to generate the Bid Table export spreadsheet, depending on the amount of Bid data, it may take a few seconds to generate and begin downloading the spreadsheet.
The Export Bid Table spreadsheet contains the full Bid History for each Lot, listed in numerical order from Highest (Final) Bid to Lowest (first) Bid in each row. We recommend using Excel’s Sort and Filter – Filter option to explore the spreadsheet Item-by-Item.
The Underbidder’s Bid Amount and Contact Information are contained within the 2nd row for each Item.
Please Note – Unlike other Exports available in the Webtron Dashboard, the Bid Table export is not affected by any Filters or disabled columns you have set on the Bid Table itself, but the Bid Table Export can be filtered by Column and Column Data in your Spreadsheet viewer of choice (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Apple Numbers, etc.)
The Bid Table Export is especially useful for following up on Lots on referral, as well as retrieving Underbidder details should the winning bidder change their mind or fail to pay/collect their won Lot(s).
