The Increment is specified for Bidders on your Portal underneath the Opening Bid or Current Highest Bid amount on each Item in both Timed Auctions, Webcast Auctions, and the Marketplace.

Invoices – The Invoices button can be found under the Actions column on the Auctions & Items > View Auctions menu, Invoices refers to the Webtron Dashboard’s in-built Invoicing function, which can generate Invoices based on the Online Results of your Timed, Webcast and Marketplace Auctions (Items sold on the Floor are excluded). Clicking the Invoices button will take you through to the Invoicing Menu for that Auction. You can ask me how to Generate, Edit, Approve, Create from Unsold Items or Send Invoices and I’ll give you detailed instructions on each topic.

Definition – Item is the Universal Term for an object or asset imported into the Webtron Dashboard, we use Item to denote an asset that hasn’t been assigned an Item Type yet, and when discussing features and options that cover the three supported Item Types.

Item Fields

Display Price – Display Price refers to the function and field value in the Webtron Auction Management Dashboard > Create New Items menu and Item Upload spreadsheet, to set a Display Price value for Items using the Listing Item Type and supports all Purchase Options. The Display Price is used to indicate the overall Value of an Item if it differs from or has a discounted Purchase Price amount. The Display Price is not the amount the Bidder is purchasing the Item for via the Buy Now button, to specify that amount, use the Purchase Price field.

Unit of Measure – Unit of Measure refers to the function and field value in the Webtron Auction Management Dashboard to set the Unit of Measurement for the Item on your Portal. Unit of Measure is only valid for Items using the Listing Item Type and the Tender Purchase Option, it is unsupported for all other Item Types and Purchase Options. The Tender Purchase Option is not currently supported.

Purchase Price – Purchase Price refers to the function and field value in the Webtron Auction Management Dashboard > Create New Items menu and Item Upload spreadsheet to set a Purchase Price for Items using the Lot and Listing Item Types and the Buy Now Purchase Option. The Purchase Price is the amount displayed to the Bidder and the amount the Bidder is purchasing that Item for outright.

Item Editing Controls

Bulk Edit – Bulk Edit refers to a button, menu, and function in the Webtron Auction Management Dashboard. The Bulk Edit button is located above the Item table in the Item List menu for each Auction and is used to Edit multiple Items, sharing a similar function to the Create New Items menu and Item Upload spreadsheet. Bulk Edit also provides access to the Attachments upload menu for additional Images, Documents, and Videos. You can ask me what each column in Bulk Edit means and also how to Group Edit Items (add matching details to multiple Items).

Group Edit – Group Edit refers to a button, submenu and function in the Webtron Auction Management Dashboard. The Group Edit button is located above the top-right of the Item table inside the Bulk Edit menu and enables you to Edit the details of multiple Items simultaneously, including but not limited to; Vendor, Category, End Date, End Time, All Taxes, Opening Bids, and Increments. Group Edit works in tandem with the select Item checkboxes on the left of the Item table, select the Items you wish to Group Edit with the checkboxes, then click Group Edit. (NEST ME UNDER BULK EDIT)

Item Status

Preview (Item Status) – Items in Preview Status have either been Validated or Saved via Bulk Edit, they can be made Live again by simply clicking the blue Approve button under the Actions column in the Item Table or Bulk Approved by ticking each item (or all with the topmost checkbox in the table) and clicking the grey Approve button above the Item Table. Items in Preview status can be edited (in both Single Edit and Bulk Edit mode) and can also be shown publically on your Portal by clicking Make Visible at the top of the Item list menu.

Live (Item Status) – Items in Live Status are publically viewable on your Portal, and depending on the Auction Type and Start Date/Time, can be bid on by your Bidders. Items can be moved into Live Status by either clicking Approve under the Actions column in the Item Table or Bulk Approved by ticking each item (or all with the topmost checkbox in the table) and clicking the grey Approve button above the Item Table. Items in Live status need to be Drafted before they can be edited.

Reconciliation (Item Status) – An Item in Reconciliation Status means it has been Reconciled manually or Sold to a Bidder during a Webcast Auction. Items in Reconciliation status cannot be edited. Reconciliation status is permanent and cannot be undone.

Item Status Controls

Validate – Validate refers to a button and function in the Webtron Auction Management Dashboard. The Validate button is located above the Item table in the Item List menu for each Auction, as well as inside the Bulk Edit menu, and is used to move an Item from Draft to Preview status. As Items cannot go straight from Draft status to Live status via the Approve button, the Validate button is best used if you don’t intend to further Edit your Items with the Bulk Edit function. If you are receiving an Error message when trying to move your Items out of Draft status, I also recommend clicking Validate or pulling that Item into Bulk Edit to correct any errors, such as an invalid End Date or Time.

Suspend – Suspend refers to a button and function in the Webtron Auction Management Dashboard. The Suspend button is located above the Item table in the Item List menu for each Auction, as well as the Bid Table, and is used to pull an Item out of the Auction, enabling two further actions. An Item in Suspended status can now have Bids Cancelled and Auto Bids Disabled, as well as be Withdrawn and/or Deleted. Suspended Items will still appear on your Portal, to hide them, tick the checkbox for that Item on the left side of the Item table then click the grey Hide button above the table. To show the Item again, select the Item with the checkbox and click Make Visible.

Withdraw – Withdraw refers to a button and function in the Webtron Auction Management Dashboard. The Withdraw button is located above the Item table in the Item List menu for each Auction and is used to pull an Item out of the Auction (your Item must be in Suspended status first, tick the checkbox for your Item then click Suspend first), allowing for said Item to still be displayed as “Withdrawn” on your Portal or enabling it to be Deleted entirely. Withdrawn Lots cannot be bid on. You can ask me How to Delete Items and I’ll walk you through it.
