Editing Timed Auction Content (Auction Title, Description and More)

Updating your Timed Auction’s Title and Description
Step 1 – Navigate to View Auctions and open the Edit Auction menu
To get started, open the Auctions & Items > View Auctions page inside the Webtron Dashboard:
Then look to the right-hand side of the Auctions table. Under the Actions column, look for the second button from the left labelled Edit. Click the blue Edit button to open the Edit Auction menu:
Step 2 – Enter a new or edit the existing Name of Auction and Description
By default, you’ll land inside the General Settings tab. You’ll find the Name of Auction (Auction Title) as the first option at the top-left of the tab:
Click into the text field next to Name of Auction and edit your existing Auction Title:
Auction Title Character Limit – Please note, the Character Limit for the Name of Auction field is 120 characters.
Below the Name of Auction field you will also find the Auction Description textbox:
Click into the textbox to edit your existing Description content:
Description Character Limit – Your Auction Description character limit may vary depending on data limitations, the default is 500 characters or less.
Step 3 – Click Save Auction to apply your changes
Once you have finished editing your Auction Title and Description, click the green Save Auction button at the top-left of the Edit Auction menu:
You’ll be returned to the View Auctions menu and will see a yellow “Auction saved successfully.” message across the top of your screen confirming your changes have been applied.
Auction Status Note – If your Auction is still in Preview status, please ensure you do not tick Save as Draft before clicking Save Auction, as this will make any existing Items uploaded to that Auction inaccessible.

Updating your Timed Auction’s Title and Description
