It may be necessary for your to outright delete a Lot or Listing from the Webtron Dashboard, either due to a cataloging error or at the request of a Vendor. This guide covers how to access your Item list, place your Lots and Listings in Withdrawn status and then permanently delete your Withdrawn Items.

Deleting Items is Permanent – If you choose to delete an Item, this cannot be undone. Any Items that are Withdrawn and Deleted cannot be recovered, deleting is permanent.

Accessing your Item List

To get started, open the Auctions & Items > View Auctions page inside the Webtron Dashboard.

Then look to the middle-right of the page inside the Auctions table, under the Items column click the # items link to open the Item List for that Auction.

Selecting and Withdrawing Items

Once the Item list loads, you’ll see your Item list table. Along the left-hand edge of the table you will see a series of checkboxes next to each Item in the list. At the top-left is a “select all” checkbox. Tick the checkbox of the Item(s) you wish to delete.

Before clicking Delete, we need to place the Item in Withdrawn status. To do this, ensure the Item(s) are selected using the checkboxes of the left-hand edge of the table, then click the grey Withdraw button above the Item list table.

A Confirmation panel will now appear, click the green Confirm button. The Webtron Dashboard will reload and move your Item(s) to Withdrawn status.

Deleting your Withdrawn Items

Once the Item list refreshes, your selected Item(s) will now show as Withdrawn under the Status column. Your selected Item(s) checkboxes will remain ticked after the page refresh, you can now click the grey Delete button above the Item list table.

This will prompt a confirmation pop-up, click the green Delete button at the bottom of the pop-up to proceed, or click the red Cancel button to stop.

After clicking Confirm, the Webtron Dashboard will now bring up a confirmation prompt, you are required to fill in the word DELETE in all caps, then type in a reason for the deletion, this is recorded and saved in your User Audit Trail. Once you’ve filled in the Audit Message, click the green Delete button at the bottom of the panel to confirm and delete your selected Item(s).

Final Confirmation – This is the final step for confirming your intent to delete your selected Item(s). Once you click Delete, your selected Item(s) are permanently deleted, they cannot be recovered. If there is the possibility the Withdrawn Item(s) will be reinstated at a future time, we recommend Drafting and Exporting your selected Item(s) via Bulk Edit.

The Dashboard will now reload and your selected Item(s) will disappear from the Item list table, they have now been permanently deleted.
