Make Offer – Setting a Hidden Minimum Acceptable Offer

When using the Purchase Option: Make Offer, you have the option of utilising the Purchase Price option to set a hidden Minimum Acceptable Offer amount.
This means that any offers made by your bidders equal or below the Minimum Acceptable Offer amount will be auto-rejected.
You can set or edit the Minimum Acceptable Offer amount via the Purchase Price column in Bulk Edit.
Setting a Minimum Acceptable Offer via Bulk Edit
Step 1: Open the Webtron Dashboard and navigate to the Items menu
Once you’ve logged into the Webtron Dashboard, click on the Auctions & Items dropdown inside the Dashboard sidebar, then click View Auctions:
As a quick reminder, if your Auction is in Preview status, click Modify Filter and, under the Status section, tick the Preview checkbox and click Apply:
Inside the Auctions table and under the Items column, click on the # Items shortcut:
Step 2: Move your Items to Draft status (if needed)
If your Items are not already in Draft or Preview status, use the Select All checkbox at the top-left of the Item List table, then click the Draft action above the table, and click Confirm:
Step 3: Select your Items and open them in Bulk Edit
Once in Draft or Preview status, select your Items and then click the Bulk Edit shortcut above the Item List table:
Depending on the number of Items selected, it may take a few seconds to load.
Step 4: Scroll to the right or use the End Switcher to access the Purchase Price column
Once Bulk Edit menu loads, use the End Switcher button at the top-right of the menu to switch to the opposite end of the Bulk Edit table:
Here you’ll find the Purchase Price column towards the left-hand side of your screen. If you can’t see it, use the sidescroll bar at the bottom of the Bulk Edit table to scroll slightly to the left:
Step 5: Setting the Minimum Acceptable Offer amount
If you are using Make Offer, the Purchase Price cell may already be blank. Click on the Purchase Price cell and enter in a whole amount to set the Minimum Acceptable Offer:
Step 6: Save and Finish
Repeat the process as needed, then click Save and Finish at the top-left of the Bulk Edit menu to apply your changes:
After a few moments, you’ll be returned to the Item List menu, select your Items and use the Validate and Approve actions to move them back to Live status:

Q: Will I still receive a notification if someone’s Offer is auto-rejected? A: To save on email spam, no. However, auto-rejected Offers are still recorded and visible in both the Offer Table and Bid Table.
Q: Can auto-rejected offers still be accepted? A: No, accepting and rejecting offers is final. If you would like to accept an auto-rejected offer, we recommend editing the Item to remove the Minimum Acceptable Offer amount, then contact the bidder directly to invite them to submit another offer at the same amount.
Q: What will the bidder see if their offer is automatically rejected? A: The bidder will immediately see the Rejected badge next to any offers they make that are below the Minimum Acceptable Offer amount.
Q: Is the Minimum Acceptable Offer visible to the bidders? A: No, the amount you set for the Minimum Acceptable Offer is completely hidden from your Portal. It is only visible to your Dashboard Admins via the Item List > Item Details or Bulk Edit menus.
