Workflow - Creating Timed Auctions with Webtron
Creating a new Timed Auction with Webtron follows a set workflow, with each step representing a tab in the Create Timed Auction menu.
Create new Timed Auction
You'll start off by clicking the Create Timed Auction option in the Dashboard sidebar.
General Settings tab
You'll land inside the General Settings tab first, from here you'll set the following:
Auction Title,
Auction Description,
Bidding Extension,
Purchase Cut-off (Optional)
Buyers Premium % (Pre-filled),
and your Additional Tax % Rates (Pre-filled)
Logo tab (Optional)
Next is the logo tab, inside which you can set a Logo for the Auction, this is optional.
Dates tab
Inside the Dates tab you'll set the following: The Auction Start and End Date & Time, Staggered End Times (Optional), Inspection/Viewing details, and Clearance/Collection Dates.
Location tab
And lastly you'll set the Address details for your Auction, either manually or pre-fill by clicking Use Auctioneer Address.
Save Auction
Once you've filled in all of the required fields, you can now click Save Auction, or proceed through the optional tabs and hit Save Auction afterwards.
Documents tab (Optional)
The Documents tab allows you to upload and attach PDFs, Word Docs or CSV Spreadsheets at auction-level. These documents can then be downloaded from the Essential Information panel on your Portal. Documents can also be attached on a per-item basis.
Contacts tab (Optional)
Inside the Contacts tab you'll find a list of the Contact Profiles you have created, ticking the checkbox for any of these profiles will add their contact details to the Essential Information panel on your Portal.
Supporting Content tab (Optional)
Inside the Supporting Content tab you can: Set specific Terms and Conditions for this Auction, and modify the default Registration message, Payment Terms and Collection Details.
