This guide covers how to delete your uploaded Photos and Attachments via the Bulk Edit menu in the Webtron Dashboard.
Deleting Photos and Attachments Overview
It may be necessary for you to delete photos or attachments you’ve uploaded to your Lots.
Whilst this is easily done, it is a per-Lot action. If you need to delete the photos and attachments off of multiple Items, it must be done one-by-one via the Bulk Edit menu’s Attachments panel.
If the situation arises that you must delete photos or attachments from 20+ Lots or your entire Item List, we recommend following the Bulk Edit Backup Export procedure first.
Bulk Upload Images Quick Replace – If you have renamed your Photos and uploaded them via the Bulk Upload Images menu, you can quick-replace those existing Photos by re-uploading Photos with the same file names. For example, if you have uploaded 13-1.jpg, 13-2.jpg and 13-3.jpg, uploading new images via Bulk Upload Images with the same file names will replace those existing Photos on Lot 13. Click here to open our guide on Reordering Photos with Bulk Upload Images Quick-Replace.
Backing up your Item List for easy Re-Import (Item List Export)
Deleting Photos and Attachments can be a delicate operation, so we ticking the Select All checkbox in the Item List, then above the table click the Export Items button:
This will download a full backup copy of your Items as a CSV spreadsheet. This CSV can then be re-imported via the Create New Items menu without any reformatting:
If you must delete the photos or attachments from 20+ Lots or your entire Item List (and you have original copies of all photos and attachments), we recommend Withdrawing and Deleting your entire Item List, then uploading the Item List Export and running through the Bulk Upload process again.

FAQ – Deleting Photos and Attachments
Q: What’s the difference between a photo and an image? A: A photo is a picture taken with a camera, while an image is a broader term that can refer to any visual representation, such as a logo, illustration, or photo. We often use both terms interchangeably, but “images” is our universal term for all static visual file types.
Q: Can I reorder photos in Bulk Edit? A: Reordering Photos is currently unavailable inside the Webtron Dashboard, but if you choose to upload your Photos via VendorPlus, you can reorder your photos there.
Q: Can I transfer photos/attachments from one Item to another? A: No, you will have to delete those existing photos and attachments from the original Lot then upload them to the other Lot same as you would normally.
Q: If I hit Save accidentally, can I still undo/restore the photos and attachments I deleted from that Item? A: Yes, but only if you haven’t clicked Save and Finish to close Bulk Edit. If you have only clicked the blue Save button at the bottom of the Attachments panel, your deleted Photos or Attachments can be restored by clicking the grey Cancel button at the top-left of the Bulk Edit menu, then click the blue Discard button on the confirmation panel. Please Note: this will undo ANY changes you have made in Bulk Edit so far.
Q: Can I replace existing photos on a Lot? A: Yes. If you use Bulk Upload Images, just give your new photo files the same names as the existing ones you want to replace. When you upload them, the old photos will be replaced with the new ones.
